Gem & Jewellery India International Exhibition (GJIIE) is poised to bring in an enthusiastic beginning to 2010 for the Gem & Jewellery Industry. GJIIE 2010 is the first trade exhibition of 2010 for the Gems and Jewellery sector and has received an overwhelming response from exhibitors as well as visitors. A large number of visitor pre registrations have been received and the numbers are increasing by the day. The Gem & Jewellery India International Exhibition is jointly organized by the Madras Jewellers & Diamond Merchants Association (MJDMA) and UBM India Pvt., Ltd. The 6th edition of GJIIE is being held from 23-25 January 2010 in Hall 2 and 3 of the Chennai Trade Centre, Chennai. GJIIE 2010 has received a tremendous response from the industry with over 90% of the exhibition space already booked. Positioned as a leading B2B exhibition for the Gems & Jewellery sector in South India, this exhibition is a must attend event for any company looking to capture a share of the largest jewellery market within India. Despite the slowdown in the market, South India’s jewellery industry showed resilience to the economic conditions which in turn has put South India amongst the most sought after jewellery markets in the world. South India has not only grabbed the attention of Indian suppliers but also of suppliers from across the world. GJIIE provides an ideal platform to those companies who are venturing out into the vast South India market which accounts for over 45% of all jewellery consumed in India. Taking the advantage of this unmatched networking opportunity, GJIIE 2010 will witness participations from several leading names from the Indian jewellery industry such as: Dharmanandan Dimaonds, Krizz, Mukti Gold, Sri Ganesh Jewellers, Emerald Jewels, Gold Craft, White Fire, , Derewala, Emballage, Unique Chains and Shreenuj to name a few. Many of which are first time exhibitors and have chosen GJIIE as their gateway to South India’s jewellery market. UBM India conducts an extensive year round marketing campaign for visitor promotion including numerous road shows which are held across India. One of the key features of GJIIE is that it has been able to attract visitors from smaller cities and towns who are largely missing from other jewellery shows in India. The 2009 edition of GJIIE witnessed a participation of 110 exhibitors and over 6,000 visitors, which GJIIE 2010 is set to surpass substantially. GJIIE 2010 is expected to attract over 150 exhibitors and over 8,000 visitors from across the country over the period of 3 days. For more details please visit http://www.jewelleryfair.in
