IFSEC India 2009 – A Resounding Success

IFSEC INDIA, INTERNAL SECURITY INDIA & FIREX INDIA 2009 proved to once again be a resounding success, attracting the participation of over 220 exhibitors from 20 countries. The third edition of this premier Commercial, Homeland Security and Fire technology exhibition was inaugurated by Smt. Sheila Dikshit, Hon’ble Chief Minister, Government of national Capital Territory of Delhi on 29 October, 2009. The three-day event which took place at Pragati Maidan New Delhi from 29-31 October was well received and attended by over 11447 visitors and had senior level representation from more than 20 countries globally.

IFSEC INDIA, INTERNAL SECURITY INDIA & FIREX INDIA has positioned itself as India’ premier international event for Commercial, Homeland Security and Fire Technology. The Show attracts Indian Government authorities and high level global security professionals and provides a face-to-face business environment for networking, knowledge-exchange and market penetration into India’s growing security and fire business. Acting as a catalyst to the rapidly expanding commercial security market in India, this year’s exhibition was the most extensive in the event’s history with a number of the industry’s leading names taking the opportunity to present their latest developments to the market. G4S, Honeywell, Hitachi Global Storage Technologies, Pansonic, Satel, Samsung Electronics, Alba Urmet, Turbo, HIK Vision and Sony India were amongst the exhibitors.

Education has played a pivotal role at IFSEC India since its inception and 2009 proved no different. Alongside the hugely popular Counter Terror Conference, the event featured technical seminars which allowed visitors to hear about the most recent developments in the industry. Presentations were delivered by a host of renowned companies, including: 3M , G4S , HIK Vision, iOmniscient ,Sony Electronics (Singapore), Sony India and US Commercial Services.
